#Project_KC24: The Arrival of Kuttsywood's Couch One.

 We'd love to welcome you all, on the first step toward, our dynamic future.

As we speak, Kuttsywood's Couch, is proud to launch our brand new product, that will undoubtedly change the way you see this site, and will also help fund our roadmap to the future.

Welcome, to the dawn of Kuttsywood's Couch One, our new Patreon subscription service.

A Kuttsywood's Couch One subscription on Patreon, will give you a ground floor entry into a new world of exclusives for our Patreon subscribers beginning later this month.

Exclusives, for our Patreon subscribers at this time include:
- A (initially) fortnightly wrap of news from the Australian TV/radio industry, with the occasional overseas news story we feel you need to be onboard with. This product is planned to be released initially, on alternating Sundays, starting April 9, under the Veritas on KW brand.
-Patreon-exclusive content for Content Survey Live, and Lexicon News: The Third (it is unknown at this time, whether it will be a audio product, or a text-based product.)
-Full reviews of metro/large regional radio ratings surveys from mid-April.
-And our single most important announcement out of this: our 2023/24 DST Guide will be available on Patreon to subscribers, a full two weeks ahead of it's traditional release over on Kuttsywood's Couch.

In addition, subscribers will be able to celebrate our big triumphs on the road to our dynamic future, as well as getting a exclusive peek behind the curtain at our evolution.

With the move into the subscription sphere, we are also going to celebrate our subscribers, at various points of the year, beginning with Content Survey Live: Night Zero in June, as well as in the DST Guide when it's posted to this site, the October One Queensland post and most notably: the Boxing Day kwNetwork Select.

Some frequently asked questions concerning our Patreon plans:
1. Why launch Kuttsywood's Couch One on April 3, not April 1?

Because, we believed that if we launched it on April Fools Day, we'd be not taken seriously. Kuttsywood's Couch One, is a long-term plan that is designed to evolve with the site.

2. Why go with Patreon before say, selling ads on the existing site?
Our intention, is use Patreon to build a audience that would be willing to pay for a more frequent service, to help transition the site to it's next evolution. Selling adverts on the existing site, would be a slower build. However, we are open to selling advertising on the new website when it inevitably launches down the road.
3. Will some proceeds from this move on Patreon be driven towards the "kwNetworkOne" Mastodon project?
Yes, mainly toward securing it's ultimate URL, with hosting being looked at after the Wordpress switch is flicked: the quicker we can get the Wordpress version of this site up and running, the more time/money we have to work on developing hosting infrastructure for a social media service.

4. Will there be additional tiers for patrons in the future?

Yes, there will: most likely when the "kwNetworkOne" project on Mastodon launches outright, possibly securing early access to the service.

5. What other things could be funded, via Kuttsywood's Couch One Patreon subscriptions?
Other concepts that could be funded, once the Wordpress shift happens:
-Possibility of a custom typeface (i.e. font) for the site.
-Begin the groundwork to build both One Queensland and Veritas on KW into standalone brands.

-Securing access to paid software, that allows us access to ratings data for both television and radio, and potentially a ratings data publishing agreement (similar to what sites like TV Tonight already have.)

-Acquiring items of interest, for preservation by us or others.
-Acquiring domains, to build similar ideas to ours for others, once we successfully prove our worth with the concept we have laid out.

-The potential to launch our own paid advertising on social media (which in turn expands our base for subscriptions: a circle if you will).
